I took the 18" x 24" wood panels that I'd primed and covered in textured media, and laid a wet acrylic stain over the surface:
I let the surface stand for a few minutes, then brushed it out and rubbed the surface gently with paper towels, so that the pigment sank deep into the pores of the moulding paste:
I carried this process out on four larger panels and four small panels. Next time, I'll begin drawing on them using airbrush colours.
