Day 3 of the printmaking class was devoted to linocut. Each person started with a stack of blocks of different sizes, but in contrast to the previous days, the pace slowed down as people worked with the more methodical process of drawing on the lino and cutting the image.
It was such a nice day that we spent some time outside, doing some quick-fire sketching and drawing on lino blocks in the open air:
By the end of the day, the table next to the printing press was filling up with prints from lino blocks:
