I spent the day brushing glazes of iridescent silver onto a large canvas and some smaller panels.
I also glued some of the dried acrylic shapes onto small panels that I'd already prepared with moulding paste and several layers of iridescent colour:
The size is 6" x 6". I like the way the black coal-mountain shape looks, and the solid contrast it makes against all that texture.
Here are four more of them:
I'm going to create a really large canvas covered with dozens of these shapes. It'll probably look like one of Matisse's giant cut-up works, but we shall see.
